Enduring
In the sunset stages
Of this fragile life
I hope to hold the hand
Of true love in my own
And hope to have known
The passion it contains
The safety of it’s squeeze
The promise of remains
On days when my mind
Has flow off in the wind
I wish to know that even
In the sunset hours
When my time is fading fast
It will take my frail hand
And lead me forth
For what may be
My last dance
